Let’s face it there are only 24 hours in a day. If you are like me you have most likely tried many of the ways to increase traffic to your website such as: article marketing, directory listing, RSS feeds, posting in Social networks, using different (manual) methods to get backlinks, and so on. The bottom line is – these methods do have an impact on promoting your website, but the fact is they eat up a lot of time.

For example: take article marketing. We know that by writing short 500 to 700 word articles and distributing them to article directories, a webmaster can substantially increase the number of backlinks to his/her website as well as traffic from the readers of the articles themselves.

Also if you embed keywords in your article, the search engines will pick up on them and index the article accordingly. Then when you have completed all these steps to your satisfaction – you publish the article.

End of work? No! That was the fun part and unfortunately the mundane work – the distribution – is just beginning.

Writing a good quality, keyword-rich article can take a few hours or maybe even a day. That represents a good size block of time. When this is done we have to roll up our sleeves and start distributing the article to web article directories – say a few hundred to achieve the maximum effect.

Logging in, uploading the article, adding the anchor text, further editing, and then submitting it can be time consuming on just one article site. Multiply this drudgery by several hundred and you just might go insane. Only the most patient of us will make it past five or six article directories. I know. I’ve been there.

Within this website we will be discussing software tools that will automate the submission process. So stay tuned.

I have found that people like to get onto facebook / youtube / myspace when they are at work. So the simple way to do that if it is blocked is just to unblock it with a facebook / youtube / myspace proxy. You can always find new ones if yours gets blocked.

  5. I have been reading your articles during my lunch break, and I have to admit the whole article has been very valuable and very well written. I thought I would let you know that for some reason this blog does not view well in Internet Explorer 8. I wish Microsoft would stop changing their software.

  6. lol lots of of the reviews people submit make me giggle, now and again i ponder whether they in actual fact read the posts and items before placing a comment or whether they just look at the title of the post and craft the very first idea that drifts into their heads. anyway, it is pleasant to browse through smart commentary now and then compared to the same, classic blog vomit which i almost always discover on the internet good bye

  7. Thanks very much for posting this good content! I am looking forward to seeintg more posts!

  8. Good points made in this article. I’d like to add, thought, that writing articles get easier the more you do it.
